Team Effectiveness · Singapore
Psychometric profiling only works when it changes how a team actually operates — not just how they label themselves. Capstone's team effectiveness workshops use Belbin Team Roles, MBTI, DISC and DOPE profiling as diagnostic tools, mapped to your team's real challenges and followed by structured debrief and action planning.
Belbin Team Roles is a psychometric framework identifying nine behavioural roles people naturally tend to adopt in team settings — from Plant (creative, ideas-generator) to Completer-Finisher (detail-oriented, drives closure). Understanding which roles are present or missing in a team explains patterns of conflict, bottlenecks and collaboration breakdowns that performance data alone cannot.
Profiling is the starting point, not the product. Capstone's facilitators — led by Arvin Yeo, an Organisational Psychology practitioner with 15+ years of corporate training delivery — use profile results to design live activities that surface real team dynamics and build actionable team norms. The debrief is where the learning happens.
Belbin Team Roles · MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) · DISC · DOPE personality model · FIRO-B · Employee Engagement diagnostics. Tools are selected based on your team's goals and existing familiarity with profiling.
L&D teams at MNCs running intact team effectiveness programmes or leadership offsites. HR business partners managing post-merger integration or major restructuring. Talent management leads embedding a common language of team behaviour across the organisation. Capstone has used Belbin, MBTI, DISC and DOPE profiling with teams at SAP, ST Kinetics, Dairy Farm International, Shinryo, and Singapore Turf Club, among others.
